I’m Jen, a CBC (Canadian-born Chinese) who grew up in Ontario, Canada and now lives in York Region. I am someone who loves capturing little moments, and enjoys exploring new possibilities. I love documenting it all through stories, tips, and photos like sharing everyday life, hidden gems like cafes and seasonal farmers’ markets , travel stories, and some personal experiences along the way. I am hoping to simply bring a little joy to your day or to inspire others.

This blog is my space to reflect, to inspire, and to hopefully help others who are also simply curious about life in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) lifestyle, or merely interested in relatable travel and lifestyle insights from a CBC’s perspective. I write about what I know, what I’ve learned, and what I’m still learning.

大家好、我係喺多倫多長大嘅竹昇、熱愛生活、熱愛記錄、亦都鍾意探索唔同嘅可能性。呢一年、我做咗一個對我嚟講好重大嘅決定 、開始寫呢個 Blog。其實諗咗好耐先鼓起勇氣去做，幸好有屋企人同朋友一路以嚟畀我好多支持、令我終於肯踏出第一步。

Why I Started This Blog
I have a lot I’d love to share from past travel plans to everyday lifestyle experiences here in Canada. As someone born and raised in the GTA, I’ve always been surrounded by family and friends to fabulous neighbourhoods and diverse cultures, and to unique places worth talking about.

For a very long time, I’ve always wanted to document these stories, not just to keep a personal record, but to somehow offer helpful insights to others. I truly believe in the “sharing is caring” mindset, meaning no gatekeeping. That’s why I wanted to create this blog for a while: a personal space to share real experiences, practical tips, and thoughtful reflections on travel and lifestyle topics.

而家嘅我，想花多啲時間陪家人、同朋友傾吓偈、去吓旅行、體驗唔同生活方式，亦希望花啲心機去增值自己，慢慢變成一個更好版本嘅自己。我希望透過呢個空間記錄生活中啲大事細節，無論係多倫多同約克區嘅日常、旅行體驗、定係個人成長心得、都想慢慢寫低、分享俾有緣嚟到呢度嘅你。雖然未必知道未來會係點、但我相信: 只要活得真誠、記住好好享受生活，就已經係一件幸福嘅事。
